Inner Cave

As the landscape changes form and enshrouds itself in leaves and snow, nature reminds us the time is ripe to journey to our inner cave. The stillness of growth on the exterior can be harnessed for interior exploration and expansion.

The outward movement of energy that is exemplified at summer solstice, has shifted gears and is now moving inward.  Most plants have released their ability to photosynthesize, having stored ample carbohydrates for spring, when they will once again move into dynamic, creative flow.

Now is the time of patience and inner stillness...but not inner slumber.  No, quite the opposite.  It is the time where we reflect on what our last year has brought us, what we've harvested and what the seeds that we've gathered might bring us during the sewing of spring.

If you go deep enough into the central cave, you will move into the limitless pool of pregnant potential.  When the imagination is engaged in this creative process and we focus our energies, it becomes the primordial soup where all things physical are made manifest.

So, go within, reflect, imagine, and dream forth into reality...quite simple actually, you do it all the time, usually unconsciously.
