Translucency
Translucency is about being vulnerable. Not hiding in the shadows for fear of what others might think...and not exposing all, which is overbearing.
There is a very fine line delineating how we interact within the world. Many are afraid of showing their light to the world. This may be due to how you were shut down as a youth, told to be quite, had your dreams shut down, or been physically or emotionally abused. All these considerations can lead to a life lived in the shadows...never wanting to have attention drawn to you, never wanting to be vulnerable, for fear that you may be shut down, or worse.
The other side is to bare all, to have no filters or concerns for others' needs or boundaries. It is as though what you need to share is more important than anything, or anyone else. This sort of reflection in the world can come from having been told how great or wonderful you are all your life. Movie stars, singers, athletes, politicians and others deal with this challenge all their life. Is it their fault for being put on the golden dais...to some degree, yes. Other times those who express this aspect are due to being put down for too long, for struggling in the trenches of the disenfranchised until they are pushed to a point where they explode from containing themselves for too long. This may be a healthy display and expression but may lead to extremism and shutting down the very people who might be able to help, if they only ratcheted things back a few notches.
Then there is the middle way...the journey of standing in your truth and allowing it to radiate from within, where the motivation is to help others express their divine light and share their gifts.Interestingly, they don't need to singe their accolades or be aggressive to get their points across...often others will do that for them, will support them because of the connections and centeredness that is displayed as though there is no other choice. They understand that although it may be difficult to share their truth initially, that once they begin in this holistic way, it becomes easier and easier to be their own light, all the while considering where their own blocks and obstacles are...the perpetual student of growth and self-expression.Eventually, after some practice, it becomes effortless and they recognize it is not really important what others think because we each have our own lessons to learn and it is not ours to make anyone feel differently. This is the pathway to enlightenment, to wholeness, to healing the world by healing ourselves...and so it is.
