Warmth of Winter

As we move ever closer to the winter solstice, nature continually prompts us to wrap ourselves in thick, plush attire or blankets...reminding us we are held safely and gently in the wings of the divine.

The colder days and dwindling daylight lend itself to moving inward, toward the hearth and family and friends to keep all our subtle bodies nourished and comforted.  This wrapping and slowing down is in direct reflection of what's occurring in nature.  With less to do outside, there is more time inside...including our interiors, and so, it is a time of tilling the inner fields and weeding the lessons and thoughts that no longer serve us.

As we create safe space and enshroud our souls in the sweet comfort of the divine, we clear a pathway for the new to sprout forth in the spring. This inner work is critical for our unfolding, our evolution, and for us to present our greatest gift to the world...ourselves.

But we can only delve into the interior if we feel safe and protected, for our subconscious does a magnificent job of booby trapping our journey unless it believes we are providing more fun and enjoyment.  Depending on our past hurts and pains, these webs may be too thick for us to penetrate without getting caught in the sticky mess of our past pains.  We must be tenacious and call on all our resources to support us on this epic trek.

The rewards are immense, not only for us, but for all those we encounter. So, nestle into the inner arms of the divine, allowing the comfort to cut through the fears and hurts to prepare the seedbed for our future dreams.nsciousness that will lead you on a soul journey to your highest potential.  See you there...Nature.
