Luna’s Glance
Luna's enchanted glow is inviting, almost mesmerizing, as she awakens our emotions and draws us closer through her soft stare.
Her suitor, the sun, cannot be directly looked upon for any length of time without injuring our vision...much the way our divine selves are too intense for us to interact with.
Our physical vehicle reflects our beautiful, sacred self so we can experience heaven on earth through our connection with others.
How interesting that the very light we're enamored with from Luna is but a reflection of the source we cannot physically look at for more than a few seconds without causing damage to our sight. Why would we develop our physical bodies in a way that our primary sense is so vulnerable? It doesn't correlate with how evolution should have equipped us...unless it is for a greater purpose.
What if it is because of a spiritual sense that our vision is so impacted by the sun? What if it is a mirror of what occurs between our divine source that is so bright and magnificent that it would destroy us, so instead we manifest in the human form that is easy on the eyes and radiates its own beauty, drawing us towards one another, not because of the physical beauty, but because of the recognition of our divine Being...Namaste.
And so, the moon is the natural embodiment of the divinity of the sun, just as we are of our sacred selves. Just as the moon goes through its phases, even the new moon where it appears that the moon is no longer in the sky; so is it true with our reflection of our holy being. Sometimes we are a fully enamored reflection and sometimes the divine aspect is merely a speck. But, just as with the moon, just because you cannot see it, doesn't mean it isn't there. This is critically important to recognize, for when we go to our dark places, oftentimes we go into shame, thinking we are not worthy of love, that the light has abandoned us. The truth is that the core of our divinity is still there, we just need to direct our light towards it to see that it never left, that we were never incomplete, and that we are always a whole and integral being of light...and darkness...and that it's supposed to be that way.ox.k of the pool of enlightenment and are forever changed - and the same - because of it.
